So, Alex is breaking into radio?

Or casting covetous eyes on the jar of cat kibble?

Alex just likes sitting on that radio. Who knows why — oh, wait. He’s a cat.

Alex reminds me of my lovely Montoya-who died this past Tuesday. Sigh. She was 3 months shy of 17 years old. I would find her sleeping on the newel post of the staircase and other strange places. She grew up with 2 puppies and always thought she was a bit dog-she would come when called and liked to go for walks together. She was almost all white with black back paws and black tipped tail.
My best cat ever-so far.
RIP sweetie.

Ruffian, my condolences. Alex is 9 and Lightfoot is 12, so I hope I won’t have to face the prospect of losing them for quite a while.

Ruffian, those black and white cats are the bestest, aren’t they? I lost my beloved “cat/dog” Emma to an undiagnosed kidney disease while I was at YKOS last summer. We now have two orange tabbies (one a rescue, one a kitten) and a great big (20 lbs, also a rescue) grey and white with a sliding Hitler moustache.
Catz rock.
My condolences.

Our Gussie[ originally named Augusta] but you know cars they get called lots of things, died in Feb at age 24, she was the best girl in the world. I have noticed since she died Serena, our black cat seems to have taken over as leader of the pack, we have 4 other cats, all strays.

Condolences…
After my old, rescued, home companion, Okay, went reluctantly to cat heaven instead of facing the end of kidney disease, I thought I would not get another cat.
A few months later I was dtiving behind a car with a bumper sticker, “two Cats are Better Than One” and the possible wisdom of that statement intrigued me.
Before long the Budd boys: Buddy Budd and his younger, goofy companion, PD Budd got adopted or I should say, that after I got them home they agreed to adopt me into their family.
A few years later and here we are all flopped together on the bed writing this.
