Thanks, Mister Brodkorb!

Your hard work spreading disinfo and knocking doors for the Republican candidate in what should have been the safe-as-houses GOP stronghold of Lonsdale has contributed to Kevin Dahle’s resounding win of state Senate District 25, beating Republican Ray Cox in an election whose date was picked by our local GOP to coincide with the winter school vacations (and thus absent student voters) for the liberal bastions of Carleton and St. Olaf colleges.
Thanks in part to you, and to the work of your fellow travelers in the right-wing-leaning press that created false expectations of Democratic weakness in SD-25, the Minnesota Democratic Farmer-Labor Party now has a veto-proof majority in the state Senate. Heckuva job, Broddie!

To be accurate, the colleges weren’t out on break election day, but had just started. The first day of classes, if I recall correctly. However, word I have is that students got so ticked off that they hung around for the campaigning before the election.
