Celebrate Pangea Day Saturday May 10th

Lucky for me I stopped off at our friend Bruno Giussani’s Lunch over IP, or I might have missed Pangea Day, which is Saturday, May 10th, 11 AM Pacific (if I am reading the times correctly). You can watch the stream here, but it takes a new computer and a fairly fast connection. Read Bruno for the details, but here’s my favorite:

I never realized Mexico had such a wonderfully operatic anthem. Doesn’t go on for ever and ever like ours, either.

I’m sorry so few of our readers took the link to listen to the Pangea presentation, PW. I heard the first two hours and can recommend a number of the films they presented. Walleyball and Papirflexion were excellent, the footage of Lebanon was spectacular and heartbreaking, and nothing can touch one more than The Dance Queen.
They remain up, and perhaps more readers will take the plunge and see what they missed.

By the way, The Mexican National Anthem can go on and on, too. And it’s less operatic in the usual rendition.
