McCain Ad: FAIL

Good Lord, McCain’s people are so stupid, not even the media can help them. Check this out:
Did you notice?
Mccain’s new ad uses footage of Barack Obama playing basketball with the troops, to argue that he has been ignoring them. I cannot imagine anything more disingenuous…or more stupid.
It’s such a blatant boner that even members of the GOP/Media Complex have noted it. Karen Tumulty did, as did Jake Tapper and Marc Ambinder caught it as well.

I saw yesterday that McCain was accusing Obama of disrespecting the military after Obama cancelled a visit to a military base because the Pentagon told him he couldn’t. Which would mean he cancelled out of respect for military authority, not disrespect for the military. Which makes McCain’s ad even more dishonest.
It also shows the Pentagon is run by hypocrites, because they’ve so often let the troops be exploited by Republican politicians. But that’s a separate issue.

You are the stupid ones, the pentagon never said he couldn’t go, just that he couldn’t go in with his barrage of reports and campaign people. They never said he couldn’t. Get the facts don’t just read what you want to hear.

What’s happened over the last 30 or 40 years is that the Repukes have put themselves through a process of reverse Darwinian selection.
They’ve forced the people who use their brains right out of the party like toothpaste being squeezed from a tube. This is typical behavior for an organization that’s hell-bent on its own self-destruction.
This happened in secondary school teaching a couple of decades ago. I got to watch this by proxy, because the end of my mom’s career coincided with the endgame. The bow wave of the collapse helped shove me out of higher education myself.
The ‘Pukes have been through 40 years of culling the smart ones and keeping the dullards.
