The Detroit Zoo recently acquired Kolyma, a 13-year-old Amur tiger, from the Racine Zoo in Wisconsin.

Yeah, doesn’t quite backtranslate. What I put in on the front end was, “They could at least give me a grandmother for breakfast.”

Schoolchildren would be tastier.
Kolyma actually doesn’t seem to pay that much attention to the people staring at him. The Zoo’s female tiger, Kisa, often stands on the edge of the moat and studies the people as if deciding which one would make the tastiest snack.
