Lady Lightfoot crossed the Rainbow Bridge two years ago today. I was fortunate to have her in my life for 14 of her 16 years. She was unaccountably fond of me, and always behaved with impeccable manners and dignity. She was a CAT.

Indeed. She would never have sat on a villain’s lap while he threatened the hero. Or at any other time.
She was a wizard at Cat Chess, too, even with the disadvantage of playing from inside a house.
