Hey, Vicki McKenna: Pics Or It Didn’t Happen

Posted by Phoenix Woman on February 16, 2011

So I was tootling along minding my own business, when I saw this in my Twitter feed:

Whoa! A right-wing radio nutter claims that “LIBERALS CALLING TO ASSASSINATE SCOTT WALKER”! You know, Wisconsin’s newly-elected right-wing wackaloon of a governor? Heavy stuff.

So I go click on the link which she screamingly pushed in CAPSLOCK mode, and find her own Facebook page, adorned thus:

That’s right — on her own Facebook page, she’s claiming the following:

Posting on facebook today:

OK, If you knew what a royal pain Walker was going to be…Would you have arrange a nice slow convertible ride for him while he was in Dallas? Is there a book depository in Madison?”

Interestingly, she fails to provide either a screen shot of the alleged post or even a link to the alleged Facebook page. C’mon, Vicki! Pics or it didn’t happen. I can’t believe you don’t know how to make a screen shot.

UPDATE: Abe Sauer of The Awl (he who birddogged Tom Emmer’s Wisconsin relatives) points out that the source of the alleged Facebook comment is none other than McKenna herself. Once again, Vicki-poo: Pics or it didn’t happen. C’mon, put your back into your slanderous accusations! The least you could do is create a fake Facebook page.
