Airport Screeners Vote for Union Representation

Airport screeners have chosen the American Federation of Government Employees as their union.

Although the collective bargaining rights are very limited, this is progress over the Bush regime’s vehement opposition to any rights at all for the workers.

    Were will it end, the next thing they’ll want is better training and not having to belittle passanagers. Then maybe better pay so they live without food stamps. It is a start and lets hope that it does help them.
