50,000 March In London Against Austerity. BBC Et Al Ignore It.

Even though the protests were happening almost literally at the Beeb’s doorstep, apparently the word has gone out from on high for the BBC to ignore any and all anti-austerity protests:

It seems the BBC are capable of tracking down a single Scot in Brazil who cheered a goal against England but fail to notice 50,000 demonstrating on their doorstep.

The only major British media outlet to cover the protest was in fact the Guardian.

    Yep at one time a long time ago bbc, npr, pbs did a decent job on the news but those days are over just mouth pieces for govt.
