Black cats are the best. Any black cat will tell you that.
I’m certainly not going to argue the point with Lady Lightfoot, who is ruler of all she surveys.
Or with Special Guest Cats Zenobia and Camilla.
Zenobia hates us all. It’s nothing personal, though.
Camilla knows it’s All Our Fault that the sun moved while she was sleeping.

Our huge long haired white beast, the terror of the neighborhood, wouldn’t have agreed that black cats were the best. He thought he was boss of the earth & every creature, including human, in it. He was cuddly, just had excessive male dominance issues despite being neutered. He died suddenly at 12. The vets sent us a sympathy card. They shouldn’t have. We were quite relieved. We were afraid he’d be with us until he was 20.

There is really only One Black Cat. Each black cats is a manifestation of the One Black Cat.

I should point out for the record that Camilla was born without a tail (though we tell people she sold it for drink).
