Awwww! Does he have a loud purr when he sleeps?

PW, he doesn’t purr when he sleeps. But yes, he does purr quiet loudly and enthusiastically.
Lightfoot, by contrast, has a low, slow purr.
Alex’s purr says “I HAZ A HAPPY!!!” Lightfoot’s says, “All is well.”

Alex is one of the ones who turns into about 3 months old when he sleeps.
Lightfoot, of course, isn’t going to sack out until she knows everything is shipshape. Ask me how I know. LOL
Do Marine Corps gunnery sergeants reincarnate as (usually female) alpha cats? Or is it the other way around?

No Marines in my household! We’re a Navy family.

Marines would tell you that they’re the real Navy and that the other guys just drive the watertaxis.

Stormie, I take it that one of the few names that elicits a reaction from your cat is “Gunny”?
